Other games of note from E3
Transformers: Devastation
This game looks just like the 80’s cartoon me and the rest of the olds grew up with. The ability to play as Prime, Grimlock and Bumblebee against the decepticons, including a massive fight with Devastator seals the deal on this nostalgia fueled beat-em-up. Coming to Ps3, PS4, Xbox360, Xbo One and PC this fall
Tom Clancy games
First, Wildlands looks like They took an open world game like Just cause and slapped all the tactical options we are used from a squad based super realistic military shooter. The ability to plan how to execute your mission in different ways as well as giving you multiple objectives across the open world should give you a ton of Freedom and flexibility,
Second, though it feels like a lot of the press is down on it I’m still high on The Division a squad based strategy game set in a devastated New York. While I think Ghost Recon poached some of the ideas like the open world and the objectives, I still feel like this will be more thriller than ghost Recon’s tactical brilliance.
Finally Rainbow 6 Siege looks to be upping the ante on story by adding Angela Bassett as the leader of Rainbow and bringing back the Terrorist hunt multiplayer mode that made the game so famous. I still miss what could have been with Patriots but this looks like a great back to the roots game
Firewatch
This Indy mystery game with looks like Team Fortress 2 struck a cord with me after going back over the Sony Press conference. An illusion of open world while still being able to drive narrative will keep me interested through the experience and I love Single player focused games
No Man’s Sky
The game with scale to long to be possible but you still wonder if they can pull it off. This Minecraft with Space stuff is a holdover from last E3, but blew so many minds its back again. It sounds like they wanted to put it out this year but after the disaster of rushed and buggy releases last year they are siding with caution and wait till 2016 for more testing. Will be epic when it comes out if they can pull off the ship to planet transition
X-Com 2
The PC exclusive and direct sequel to the shockingly successful Enemy Unknown, X-Com 2 is adding better support for mods after the success of The Long War mod. In addition they will also be offer better Loot and stealth elements to mix up the tactics even more.

No mans Sky is something I wasn’t overly enthusiastic about when I originally witnessed it, but it has ascended further and further up my list of must owns.

It’s grown on me too. I’m still surprised at how such a small team is making such an enormous game. If they can deliver on the scale they are promising its game changing.
